    Hi,

    I'm attempting to sign up for the keyword ranking tool but i'm not sure which Google API key to apply for. There's quite a few to choose from.

    Can anyone please help?

    Well, you need a Googleâ„¢ SOAP API Key, but Google stopped issuing them after 5th Dec 2006.

    Yea unfortunately as best anyone in this forum has been able to tell you're out of luck with finding a new key for the keyword tracker.

    Is there any similar tool that will not need an API key ?

    Similar i mean be able to track multiple URLs and keywords, keep some stats and charts etc. I seen some free tools where you manually put kw and url, one at a time, and get some currect results.. but nothing else.. not even paid..

    It is not working for me either.

    I have an API but Keyword Tracker keeps saying:

    Exception from service object: Invalid authorization key: (my API here)

    So, I tried to find a new one to try it out but could not.

    Does anyone know how to solve it so that we can use the Keyword Tracker?

    Thanks but does not seems to work properly, at least not with google. I have a site and some keywords added there for 3 days. They say it takes 24-48 hours before see the results. It is true that for 2-3 keywords there are stats, quite correct, but for the rest, more then those working, it shows no position, even for the keywords that i know for sure i am #1 in google.

    Thanks for the help anyway. I guess will start build own tool or service :)

    If you need an API which is no longer available, then the tool should state that so ppl don't waste their time trying to sign up.

    Is there another tool? What I want to know if what page on google search my site shows up for a selected keyword.
