Is there a search tool to find out which GoogleAds pay the most per click? Does anyone know which topics/services in GA ads are the highest paying? Prior to Google dropping their sponsorship of casino type ads I would speculate that they may have paid the most per click. Maybe automotive ads pay the most now? Any info or advice is appreciated.
The best way to find out is AdWords, where it will tell you the estimate cost per click for your keywords. There is no master list of the highest paying keywords though. You would need to check your keywords manually.
Thanks digitalpoint. Would you have any suggestions regarding which topics, themes or industries might be in the upper pay per click ranges? If I knew which industries may be in the higher payout areas I could then get really specific in the checkout of the actual keyword bids? Just like your excellent keyword tool, I think that it would be really neat if there was a bid word tool but that may not be possible.
I think Google frowns upon designing sites for AdSense revenue. I do know that gambling and mortgages pay very well. I would just be careful in designing sites to make money off of AdSense.
Thanks everyone for your input and so fast too. Good point re just designing a site just for Google ads. My intention is not to build something where the tail wags the dog but rather to construct a quailty, content rich web site. As a web designer I build sites from casinos to churches and thought that if I was going to build one of my own it might as well be in the higher pay per click potential range rather than focused upon the lowest paying territory. For example if I was constructing a site as a project, the theme may be best as a mortgages directory as opposed to a widgets directory. (thanks NewComputer - I had not thought of mortages).
I have sites based around medical or health problems, listing numerous diseases, etc, these pay on average around 15 cents a click for me, I have sites on credit cards, payday loans, these ads generate up to 40 cents a click, sometimes less. I have numerous sites selling software these generate 3 cents to 15 cents per click on average. I often wonder if what someone calls a high paying ad may be true on one persons site, but the same ad may pay far less on someone elses site. I know for a fact that cleaning business ads pay high on one persons site, but on my site on cleaning, the ads pay around 10 cents or less. But yet he says cleaning related ads are his best payers and strives to get em. so it's strange.......... and tough to figure out. That is why I think high-paying keyword lists are worthless, I also use overtures bid tool, but with the ads paying different amounts on different sites, it also is worthless for using to find high paying keywords.
