My opinion would be Angry Birds, kids just love this game now a days. The first time i saw the game i thought it to be stupid and boring but when i got the hang of it i was just addicted to it.

The kid is a boy or girl? If girls,you should buy Sims or my little pony games
If he is a boy then car-bus-tractor simulator or other simulator games. Do not buy fps game.

I can suggest that Wii is the best gift for the kids.
I think and I believe that he/she will be happy if he/she had it on his/her hand.
We cant deny the fact that we are happy when we see our children or nephews happy.
