    Hi everyone,
I'm quite new in freelance writing. Would anyone please help me get started with the GetaFreelancer.com site? I am not sure how to get freelance writing from it.

    Thanks in advance. :)

    Thanks a ton Cynia....

A new site should be the better option for newbies, at least you get to become the oldie sooner. :D

Elance.com is a well established but the price you also should be expecting high. So good if you are bidding for projects. But you will also get tons of competitors.

Getafreelancer.com is pretty new so pretty good and less competitors. But you would expect very low bid to win a projects. I would recommend this one if you tender a project.

I've heard of people using craigslist.com and usfreeads.com to pull clients - you can try'em.

Not sure why so many freelance programmers stick to odesk where there are better freelance websites like getafreelancer ,etc . Is the concept of odesk patented ? I hope yes , else many companies will start doing the samething in turn freelance service providers will get screwed.

Also try Constant-content. They are small, but for quality writers it is the best place to get a quality payment.

If you are a coder/service provider - elance only and only. Rest are usually have very low budget buyers. Belive me, I am on that sites for 5 years.
