    To save money I want to launch my site using some free forum. After a couple of months I can purchase VB license.
    Which one (phpBB,SMF,myBB etc) will be easy to migrate to VB without any hassles?

    I don't think it will matter, When you purchase your VB license, it will come with Impex which will migrate your DB from any one of those three into a VB database.
