    Been on SMF from a year now. It is really really simple in all aspects then phpBB. You don't have to mainly go through the huge mod installation process that is to be done in phpBB whereas it is all automated in SMF. :)

    - If you have anything in specific regards, then i can explain it in more detail.

    i would go with SMF as well. Have been using it for a couple of years. Haven't had any problems with it.

    i prefer phpbb maybe coz i havent used SMF a lt but phpbb has surely got a large user base

    I use SMF for my forums, it´s really good and easy to operate, plus the exploits are far inbetween.
