Digitalpoint has more posts and threads while sitepoint has more members (obviously those members don't contribute as much as the ones here), here's the proof: Digital Point Forums Statistics Threads: 844,441, Posts: 7,790,601, Members: 172,752 SitePoint Forums Statistics Threads: 524,560, Posts: 3,768,644, Members: 259,083
SitePoint doesn't seem to count marketplace listings or the articles they post on main portal. Then again, it's not about quantity, but quality. It's older than DP, started on year 1998 as webmaster-resource.com. In fact, it's more than just a webmaster forum. Founders are pretty active in developing SitePoint further, for example - 99design. Marketplace: DP is free, pretty fine when you're not selling something which worth a paid listing. Oh, it's links buying/selling heaven. SitePoint is paid - yet people prefer to sell their high-quality sites or stuff there. I wonder why?
