Which forum is bigger - DP or Sitepoint

    I think DP is more active but Sitepoint makes more money

    Sitepoint imo, because 1339 (191 members and 1148 guests) and thats not including the marketplace


    Digital Point 1,274 (418 members and 856 guests) including the market place

    But I enjoy DP more

    Digitalpoint has more posts and threads while sitepoint has more members (obviously those members don't contribute as much as the ones here), here's the proof:

    Threads: 844,441, Posts: 7,790,601, Members: 172,752

    Good point, is sitepoints marketplace included in their statistics though?

    Either way I prefer DP :)

    SitePoint doesn't seem to count marketplace listings or the articles they post on main portal. Then again, it's not about quantity, but quality.

    It's older than DP, started on year 1998 as webmaster-resource.com. In fact, it's more than just a webmaster forum. Founders are pretty active in developing SitePoint further, for example - 99design.

    Marketplace:
    DP is free, pretty fine when you're not selling something which worth a paid listing. Oh, it's links buying/selling heaven.
    SitePoint is paid - yet people prefer to sell their high-quality sites or stuff there. I wonder why? ;)
