    Well I am using phpbb in two of my sites. I have tried smf as well, but I am not feeling it to be user friendly like phpbb. Phpb with mods like cspam, bot indexer mod etc are up to any requirement.

    I use phpbb on 2 sites. I have 2-3 more forums in planning. Still undecided about switching to SMF. I had not so good luck with the old YABB so that's still in my mind.

    I chose VB as it there are a lot more hacks available to it and it comes with more bells and whistles.
