Mac OS Extended / HFS extended.

Mac OS cannot write on NTFS format. i.e if you create a partition via bootcamp for windows, you won't be able write on the Disk, when Mac OS is opened. Also, you might have trouble if your removable disk is NTFS.

Though Mac OS does read Fat32 beautifully :D

Did your whole harddisk get erased ? I mean , see how much space if filled in the drive. If the drive is completely formatted - that would be trouble.

Does vista read the data in the 2GB space ? Is that what you are trying to recover ? Any Idea how much data was there previously ?

The total data in the 80GB HDD was around 50GB
the 2Gb is just allocated space which i dont know how it was created the main data is in the rest of unallocated the space
Even the 2Gb space is not accessible

Sorry mate but I think you lost your datas. Though try some other recovery softwares, see if they might be able recover something.
