I want this answer from the people , who know it best . Which font is suitable , for usability, reading, along with maintaining the beauty . A font , which is small , beautiful , but hard on EYES , or font which is large , clean and great with eyes but not so proud of the LOOKS ??? Comments , are welcomed , and thanked in advance .
Small and sophisticated use to be more popular. Now with the web 2.0 trend big and simplistic type is in style.
I use different fonts for different reasons... I am not set on one inparticular, but I do like Verdana.
You never want something that is going to be hard on the eyes. If its not visually appealing, their less likely to stay on your site. I find that a good combination of both large and small seem to work best. And as mentioned above, remember that just because its large, doesnt mean it has to be ugly.
Yeah guyz , thanks for all the comments you have been pondering , and my favourite font , is Trebuchet for biggies and Tahoma ( with appropriate line height ) for the rest . They actually take me , with em . And people , this is my favourite website when concerned with Typo , and here is where i enjoy the type upto brim . http://modernlifeisrubbish.co.uk/
