which factors matters for selecting a keywords for a site

Suppose our site is related to music,which keywords are suited most and which strategy is used for selecting a right keyword for a site.please give your suggestions

Sheena, when i collect a keyword basket for a new site i regulary use the different keyword selector applications to get some information about the searching trend. After i know some nice expression i visit the google in order to test the level of competition (number of indexed pages which retur for the certain searches).

After the launching the site it's highly recommended to test new keyphrases, and to analyze your statistic, competitors as well.
