Which extension is better

Which extension do you guys think is better .us or .asia?

 

i think .asia it's a best choice

 

I think .us, but I am from the US so I would be partial.

 

I think .us as it is smaller and easier to type in if someone was taking through word of mouth or whatnot, but this is just my opinion.

 

I'm partial to US, because it's simple. Sorry, I did not know there was an ASIA domain. oops.

 

If u talk about building site on it, there's nothing to be worried about the extension. As long as u can get the traffic for it, u should fine.

But for domaining purpose, i'll say go for .us , coz .asia domain is seems didn't get a good value after its launch.

 

Depends on the project. They both have great uses.

Imagine that I wanted to create a network of sites that list all the airports in every region of the world. I could register airport-list.us for the USA list and airport-list.asia for the list of asian airports...

It all depends on the project...

 

Depends on the content of your site and the target location of your visitors. If you are after a global audience, then .us would be better than .asia. However, .com would be the best.

 

allways try to get dot coms from my experience till now perform far away better than any other extensions .

 

.us is better I feel because it can be used as a domain hack.

 

Depends on which market you're targeting because both are country specific tld.

 

It really depends on what you are going to use it for. If it is for a United States site I would definitely go with .us.
If it is going to be a site developed and marketed to Asia I would go with .asia.

Otherwise I agree .us is best because it is cheaper and has the double meaning "the 2 of us."

If you can afford it, get one of the top 3 (.com/.net/.org) they have more mass public appeal.

.us is the first choice, but registrations in .US are limited to US companies, US citizens, legal residents, and entities with a 'bona fide' presence in the US.

 

I prefer .com but it depends on your project what extension to use.

 

I love .asia domain but i think .us domain will be better, and is cheaper than .asia domain.
and if i not mistake that not too many people use .asia domain, maybe u can use to develop website and enter alexa top rank
