Hi, Eclipse is good for JAVA development. It is slower in processing as compared to dreamweaver and of course, notepad++. If you are a newbie, you should go for Dreamweaver. It's references of languages and automatic tag closing options will help you in quicker coding and as well as saving time from lots of debugging. Moreover, Dreamweaver is the industry standard. Hope that helps
I think so macro media Dreamweaver8 or Dream weaver css5 are best,Eclipse is best for java but it is slow as compare to Dream weaver .so Dream weaver is much better.
Dreamweaver is worthless. It's not a true IDE. It has extremely poor code completion and app organization. It doesn't handle any sort of error control or unit testing or debugging. It's really not even in the ball part of a good IDE. It works ok as a text editor and code highlighter but otherwise should be saved for simple HTML usage. Netbeans is the one I would currently recommend. Eclipse would be my other choice. Both of these offer a ton of true IDE features. They make development very fast and can handle PHP frameworks. Literally, Dreamweaver isn't comparable to a real IDE. Apart from that they canceled all future development from it, so no matter what happens, dreamweaver won't get future bug fixes and won't get any upgrades.
That would be my recommendation. It's much easier to use than Eclipse, and has very good support for PHP. It's free and is actively developed.
I feel if you don't need debugger or PHP function help etc then you can go with Notepad++ it is light and works well. Or else go for net beans it is quite good for PHP
I use notepad++. It is free, uses syntax highlighting, and will keep the tab position if you tab out your code.
Use notepad++, the best code hint, you can change the style, zoom in, zoom out using the mouse and more...
