Which eBook publisher would you recommend?

I have finished my first eBook, but every publisher has requires different format, so which eBook publisher and platform is the best to publish with? ( Amazon, Smashwords, LuLu, Itunes eBook and etc..)

I think Amazon is the most famous but let's see what other have to say about this. Maybe you can start selling it on your own website.

 

Yes, Amazon is one of the biggest seller of eBooks. However, there are ebook.com, Google eBookStore etc.

 

I would do a test and try them all out for size. Then you will know what works best for you and be able to use it for future projects.

 

One factor to consider: Amazon has incredible TRUST factor across the world. Having any book, digital or otherwise, on that site gives some extra element of credibility, in my humble opinion.

Also, the previous poster suggesting testing: ALWAYS good advice. Know your numbers for everything, including best performing platform. Basic stuff, but many many marketers hate testing, don't do it, and leave commissions on the table.

 

Amazon is my first choice for publication your eBook. I think it is biggest online book seller.

Thank you for your reply, I think I am going to test with Amazon, smashwords and lulu. However, I am wondering since that smashwords declare it submit publisher's work to amazon and Itunes eBook, I wonder if I can publish with them both at the same time....
