2 Questions: 1. I've read on the forum some people saying that .info domains might be harder to get good rankings with since they might be flagged as spam more easily by Google. One of the reason being that they sold for 99c at one point so many spammy sites bought .info domains... What's your opinion about that? 2. So let say you'd need to pick a domain specifically to be search engine friendly (especially for Google) for the keyword: "dirt bike paints". Let say the only 2 domains you could find were: dirtbikepaints.info and dirt-bike-paints.biz. Which one would you choose if you only consider the search engine friendlyness? The .biz with with dashes or the .info without dashes? Thanks! Vincent
dirtbikepaints.info Of course, I'd never buy anything but a .com or .net, but that's just my top-top level snobbery.
Personally I would only use .net or .com (or gov, org) or your countries one. And I would only use one hyphen max. Sorry I don't have time to go into all the reasons, too busy.
Better choose the dot info compare to the dot biz. Actually I got few dot info domain since all extension already taken. As long as you develop a good site, dot info have a same potential on search engine ranking.
