Hello, I am starting a web hosting blog, and I was wondering if I could get everyones advice on which Domain to use for SEO purposes. Which do you think would be the best... 1) BestTopWebHosting.com 2) WebHostingJedi.com 3) BestWebHostingComparison.com 4) BestWebHostingGuru.com 5) BestWebHostingGuides.com In your opinions, which would be the best? Thanks.
I would go for WebHostingJedi.com - It's the shortest and has "some" brandability with the Jedi in it which you can incorporate in to the sites logo and theme. The bestwhatever domains have a MFA ring to them, the kind i get a million hits to register.php and end up blocking.
MFA ring? What does that mean? Also, I am targeting "Best Web Hosting" and "Top Web Hosting", so would it be better to use BestTopWebHosting.com because both keywords are in the URL?
If you are targeting those terms, then yes having an exact match in your domain does help. MFA = Made For Adsense I get a bunch of Bestpornvids, BestHotDating, BestDebtConsolidation etc domains trying to sign up to spam, and every domain i've seen with "Best" in it is actually the worst.
I prefer BestWebHostingGuides.com it gives it some direction, as you say its a GUIDE..its has purpose.

Why would anyone who knows SEO want leads? You are supposed to promote your customers websites to gain exposure, but can't gain exposure for yourself.
I agree with going with WebHostingJedi.com because it has the most potential, in my opinion, for branding.
I think I got the last three normal web hosting domains: WebHostingAdvice.net WebHostingFriend.com WebHostingJoint.com Although they aren't really in use as of today...
