Hello. It has recently dawned on me that the .com extension stands for commercial. This would perhaps mean that if I use .com domains they 'must' use affiliate links. Is it okay to use .com even I don't use affiliate links? Should I perhaps use .info instead?
You can use whatever you want on your domain name, You don't need to have affiliate links on your website to own a .com domain. I can own a .com domain that specializes in selling Cheese and it would be perfectly fine. Thanks
Yeah - the relationship between com and 'commercial' disappeared ages ago. However I suppose that if your site is really not-for-profit and you're trying to help people out you might like to look at org. But there's no obligation to do so. Personally I think consumers see .com and .org sites as far more trustworthy than .info sites.
about the site, whereever it is that you're going, use the .com extension.. people can easily remember .com domains
The only restricted extention are: .gov .edu .mil .pro .asia .name .jobs .aero .cat .coop .int .museum .travel
You should use .com instaed of .info and you can use .com.It is not necessary whether if you use .com it should have affiliate links.
Hi there! you could use .com domain names, I have lots of .com domain which you could purchase, some are: FixedPersonalLoans.com BetterEats.com FatBurningCompatibleFoods.com FastestDownloader.com WatchMoviesOnPC.com FunnySportVideos.com Just message me if you are interested These are only some of what I have, you could message me for further domains you want!
There is another thing I've been thinking about. Let us compare subdomains vs tlds. Take, mysite.awardspace.com vs awardspace.com. Are the the two comparable, both using the extension .com? What about mysite.awardspace.info vs awardspace.info? Are they also comparable, both being informative sites?
