Now that amerigohosting.com is about to launch, we want to throw a template on one of our other domains. And start with onsite seo while we work with link building for amerigo. The reason we are doing different sites, is that each of these will carry different package/configuration options *some using cpanel, some using plesk, etc*. I second you choice, the shorter the better. Other than that I would go with either hoststars.com or nitrohosts.com
In general i agree with the shorter the better, but I only think so because 'it is easier to type' Are there other benefits beyond "The human factor" of being easy to remember/type?
Abhosts is a brandable name to play with, and fits with your main project. AB can mean whatever you want, just find the right combination and you will end with a good name for your side-website. Some of these could be not that good, but an example: All Bulk All Basic AmeriBusiness AmerigoBusiness etc. etc.
I like HostStars.com personally. It's short, and catchy. The word star is vary familiar and usualy means good things, bright, shinning, beacon of Great A+ hosting services!
