Which domain registrar is cheapest for .com and .info registration?

Some domain registrars have special offer $4.99 for new .com registration. Goddaddy .com reg is still expensive about $7 to $8
Price for new .info registration at Godaddy is now $3 and used to be $1 before

So which domain registrar is cheapest for .com and .info registration now?

taking away 1 domain per customer specials, godaddy would be still the cheapest (for both 5 domain/customer and unlimited/customer offers)
I have no information about cheap info, but interested as well.

 

The question is, why on earth would you want to use .info in the first place?

 

cause they were $0.49 per domain for the first year at one time

 

Godaddy:

.info are still 1.99 (2.17 with icann fee) as of yesterday. You might have to play around with your cart but I was able to buy a ton.

 

godaddy.com is now offering a first year free .info domain for every .com registration. If you buy example.com you can have example.info free of charge for one year.

 

Godaddy will always beat the rest when it comes to domains they are just so big and have a great marketing plan.. If you want good quality domain and pay a good amount of money for a .com which is around $10 - $11 then you should go with namecheap.com

 

and if you want to pay even more ($38), use register.com!

 

I think GoDaddy offers cheap domains but I still buy mine from NameCheap. I stayed away from GoDaddy when they suddenly blocked my countries IP a few years ago. They don't block it now but it was a lesson learned.

If you are looking for a .com domain, you should try name.com and namecheap.com
With their coupon codes, you can buy at around 8 or $9

WOW! I guess I got taken. I've bought numerous domains from go-daddy and it cost $12.99 I've got others from Host gator. Personally I like host gator. The ones I got from Go daddy are all dot com. you guys and gals got a good price.

 

I always check the last couple pages of this thread to find a good coupon. There always seems to be one. I can't recall that last time I paid over $8 for a .com and usually way less.

Network solutions provides a coupon code for 1$ Domains. I dont remember that right now. You can register 1 1$ domain only.
