    Freelance.org?
    or
    Freelance.pro?

    you should always look for a .com first.. it's common for people to type .com unless they really know who you are.

    As everyone else said .com is the first choice, though .pro is not bad considering the niche you're going to develop this site in, and especially if it is related to web design and development freelancers

    I must agree with everyone that when I'm hunting for a domain name, it's dot com.. It never hurts to pick up .net and .org if the price is right.. then you can redirect to dot com if you so choose.. why not have the most common ones if you can.. it avoids anyone from registering them and "copying" your idea..

    my 2 cents..

    lol, well, i never knew .pro domains exist. actually they sound really well. where can you buy them? if i won't find .com/.net available i would buy .pro

    Well of course the dot com is going to be better but it sounds like you only have the .pro version but that is also a great name for pro. Don't worry if you haven't got the dot com, it would most likely cost a small fortune to get hold of anyway so be happy with what you have and I'm sure you will do well if you get to work on a great site soon.
