    Hi,

    I am having this site http://applications-of-bluetooth-technology.com but after reading some posts in DP I felt that the domain name is not that perfect. It's difficult to type(though I have given bookmark option for it) so I am looking to change the domain and looking to do redirect for www.applications-of-bluetooth-technology.com

    I am thinking about applicblue.com as a new domain. What do you people think ? should I stick with my previous domain or shud I get a newer one.

    Any more than two hyphens start to look spammy imo. Shorter is better- I would personally get rid of "of" i.e. bluetooth-technology-applications.com

    shorter is better...
    and you might run into some sort of legal problems using the TERM "bluetooth" IN the DOMAIN name...

    So shud I go with applicblue.com ? Since I already have the applications-of-bluetoooth-technology.com so I guess I will also be using it as a redirect.

    Applicblue.com sounds pretty good, especially when you think about having to promote applications-of-bluetoooth-technology.com!

    In my opinion anyone dont prefer bluetooth-technology-applications.com to applicblue. Most important reason is writing the first one needs minimum 15seconds. If you're a slowly-typer it needs more. :) but i can type the applicblue.com in 3seconds.

    your first domain smells very bad and it's not suitable for the search engines because it smells spam.

    and i think "add to favorites" buton don't change anything.

    applicblue.com is much, much better. Honestly, can you really see people typing applications-of-bluetooth-technology into there browser after you telling them the address as a business seminar or something?

    Don't worry about using a domain name that doesn't describe the service you offer perfectly. Just look at flickr, yahoo, google, miniclip etc.

    applicblue.com is nice because it is easy to remember which is very important in branding. Think Amazon, Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves. They are easy to remember.
