Hi All, I am starting a new marketplace for digital jobs. I got 2 domains at the moment: https://www.jobdone.xyz/ https://www.digitaljobdone.com/ Which one do you think I should use to start a marketplace like Fiverr. and how will it help me to improve my ranking on google. any suggestions will be appreciated.
Out of those 2 choices, go with the .com. There is already a jobdone.com so if you use the .xyz for the same thing, you are asking for legal problems. Also, many people look at those cheap new extensions as not trustworthy. Many of the new extensions like .xyz, .top and others that are always available for a $1 registration fee are seen as throw away domains. There are some exceptions, but I think this will be the case with this one. Out of the 2, use the .com.
Same with with all of the above, use the .com domain. .xyz domain is new and and not that well-known. For me personally I'm not comfortable typing domain.xyz.
https://www.digitaljobdone.com/ is the best domain for your marketplace because your keyword is digital job so https://www.digitaljobdone.com/ is the perfect and this domain is also SEO friendly.
.xyz is a useless, meaningless domain extension. So no, I would not use it. I really do not know why people gravitate to some of those useless new tlds. ALSO: If I were you, I would register digitaljobsdone.com (with an "s") because it sounds better than "digital job done". And right now that domain IS AVAILABLE. You can get it for $5.88 first year on Namecheap with a year of free privacy protection. By the way, even though that is not a short domain, it is perfectly descriptive and in that way is a good domain name.
as stated by others, xyz seems to have no real meaning except for google (they owned abc.xyz which is a fancy name). Go for .com, it is the king.
