Which domain name is better?

I want to register "keyword.com" but it has been taken. Which is better between "keyword.org" or "mykeyword.com" In terms of people awareness, not SEO.

 

I think "mykeyword.com" is better

i would've chosen keyword.org take care with these ideas... because sometimes those who see something like this will jump and steal your domains

 

Yeah that's certainly true, don't waste more time in thinking before anyone else gets that domain..... as for the choice between the two, I think i would have gone for the .com domain.

 

Generally, .com is more easy to remember than a .org

 

I think i would go for mykeyword.com too

 

Register both... but go with the "mykeyword.com" since you can build your own unique brand off it... The .org is nice to have, but tough to brand since you don't have the .com.

Are you a non-profit type service? You may want to consider using "mykeyword.org" and have the .com redirect.

Unless you are planning to set up an non profit site, I'll stick with the mykeyword.com.

 

.com always better

 

.com's are always better. If you can register all the TLD's possible so that type in traffic for someone that forgets can still reach the site. Stick with proper spelling too.

 

I'll choose .net if .net is available. Else I choose mykeyword.

 

i think that you should choose mykeyword.com or maybe keyword.net
