PLEASE CONSIDER S6BLOGS = 66BLOGS NOW!!I have a few domain names lying around and I decided to put them to use. I want to offer free Wordpress Blogs under a sub-domain of one of the above domain names. An example would be: yourblog.rssarea.com s6blogs is established, but I don't care about that at the moment, I want to know which one SOUNDS BETTER, you know for Word of Mouth and such.. All input as to why you voted the way you did would also be appreciated and helpful!
I like RSS Orb because it is the shortest, but I kind of like the sound of RSS Area better, so it is very close. I think I would go with rssorb.com though for its shortness.
Yeah I was debating that for an hour or so, do bloggers really care how short the domain name is and what is the usual length of a good one? I couldn't find one with a low amount of characters related to blogging...It is going to run WordPress MU and all that..
I thought shortest first (agreeing w/ sixty) but I fell if you promoting blogs it should be in the title Ended up going w/ S6blogs.
I don't know about s6Blogs because of the fact that I got an odd Google issue going on now: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=122690 What if I found a different domain name with the word "blog" in it, but around the same character length (I've spent at least 3 hours now trying to find one on GoDaddy) If an admin could somehow edit the poll and add that in maybe?
Ok, well I just went out and registered 66blogs.com since it goes with my network and if both are numbers, won't be that hard to memorize, lol So consider s6blogs as 66blogs now!
If the selection is among these domains definitely the RSSArea Pronounced better, your tongue is not swirled to say the name RSSOrb can be seen as RS-Sorb too. Area is more common and used word, even better for search engine promotion of the domain
RSSword.com seems very good to me because:- (1) Microsoft Word is too famous as a text editor program (2) It goes with the theme of Blogging (Word) So yeah go with RSSWord because it is easy to pronounce, is easy to remember and really good. IT
lol, why don't you guys put in a vote then But I understand what you meant about RSSOrb, that's why I registered RSSArea and RSSWord, but I can't even choose between those two...
Think of RSSWord Your mind builds a very limited picture of one word Also there are 4 consonants in the row Think now RSSArea A big area of RSS
You do have a point there...But what if it's: cecil.rssword.com compared to: cecil.rssarea.com Considering that it would be me blogging RSSWord would be better in my sense.... Right now a TON of people want either 66blogs.com or rssword.com
Final votes are in from my favorite four forums! 66Blogs.com is the winner and it'll be setup tonight!
