Which Domain Is Better, Please Tell Me

    Hey there,

    I have 2 domains for a game that is "Lord Of the Rings Online" and the short name is called "LOTRO" so can someone please tell me which of these 2 domains is better.

    www.LOTRO.biz or www.LOTRO-Online.net


    Any help is appreciated, thanks

    Personally, I do not like .biz domain extensions for games. .net is not so bad for online multi-player games. If LOTR-Online.net is available I would go for that. But, to be honest, I thought LOTRO was a lottery or gambling domain name and I did not quickly associate that with LOTR.

    My vote is for LOTRO.biz because its less complicated.

    LordOfRingsOnline.net may be suitable for you. Although it is easy to choose small domain, the welll-known name is highly apppreciable...

    Also agree on this although it is too long but atleast it is widely known...but between the two that you've listed i'll rather choose LOTR-Online.net...:)

    It doesn't really matter which one you go with as far as SEO is concerned. Pick the one you think people can remember. Ultimately that is what you are looking for.

    LOTRO is better but Online is seldom shortened to "o"

    why not take ELOTR.NET ?

    Maybe I’ll choose this LordOfRingsOnline.net, keywords on your URL has an effect on SE and if you choose this LOTR-Online.net it may confused them with lottery online, I’ll go for .net instead of .biz

    It's difficult to make a choice of these two as .biz extension is not really that popular as compared to other TLDs while with www.LOTRO-Online.net, the hyphen and the word 'online' spoils the name as there is already an 'o' for the word online. If the choice is restricted to these two I would say go for the .biz one.
