i have a question. what do you people think is the trusted domain parking company? here i have a list for the companies. please inform which company is trusted by you and with which company you are parking your domains. what is average you earn through these companies? - hotkeys - sendori - DDC - TrafficZ - domainspa - domainsponsor just wanted to figure out.
I really like namesilo.com and use them for parking my idle (non-developed) domains - great registrar too. The google adwords stats on those domains is not bad compared to some of my developed domains. However, my personal belief is that domain parking services is a thing of the past soon - possibly within the next 2 years. I really see Google cracking down on the useless content soon. A good read can be found be googling "google search and search engine spam" (my profile does not permit posting links so I cannot give the exact URL). The "google search and search engine spam" article I am referring to is (insert http protocol here)googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/google-search-and-search-engine-spam.html There - now I can post URLs
I have been with many of them all are same, know i have my reseller account with direct-i and do it my self and friends. i lost few good domains in this way
and what parking company? I have domain name registered with Godaddy.com and almost all are .com but wanted to ascertain what parking company would pay me better.
I guess there is a question as far as where do you draw the line between a parking company and a registrar since some registrars offer parking. In my above reply I pointed out that I use NameSilo.com since they offer free parking and I get to keep 100% of the earnings (you just plug in your adwords id and the earnings show up in your adwords account and Google pays out directly to me). I guess one difference is that most "just parking" companies keep a percentage of the earnings and are therefore more motivated to monetize. Which I guess leads to the question of whether you are better off earning 100% and being more responsible for monetizing our outsourcing and being less responsible for monetizing. I'd be curious to hear back from others on this point. I guess part of my preference for using Namesilo is that I like the fact that I don't have to trust Namesilo - Google is the neutral 3rd party that tracks clicks/impressions and pays up. That's not to say that I don't trust NS - they are after all my primary registrar; however, then it comes to getting paid - I like the transparency offered by having a neutral 3rd part in there (i.e. Google).
sedo is known worldwide and can be very trusted i also use smartname as another parking serivce and they are pretty good too
I used Sedo a long time ago (must have been 4 years or so ago). Things were fine for a few months. They owed me... it must have been around $400-500. And then all of the sudden (right before I was going to get paid) - I got this email: Now - I swear all the traffic was legitimate. I don't even make most of my money off of parking (I only use it on my undeveloped domains to put them to some use) - I primarily focus on my developed sites. I don't have the time to sit around and click on my own links. I called them up and spoke with the guy who ran "Traffic Quality Management" but to no avail - I never got paid. I just chalked it up as a lesson learned. Maybe that is why I am distrustful of parking companies Obviously not everyone has that experience since they are large - but I go with what I know - and that means I do not use Sedo.
Actually, I just found that whole email thread in my archive- it was less than $400 - but still - you get the idea.
domain registrar : dynadot.com domain host : dreamhost/hostgator.com domain parking : bigjumbo :noth-american traffic , bodis.com : all esle
Just my 2 cents.. Choose the company that has at least several accreditations in order to be sure that your domain will not disappear.
do not you have any above mentioned parking companies? actually i am more interested with the domains parked with the above mentioned parking companies. i heard they pay in good figures. *sorry, for bad english
