What are the pros and cons of having an e-commerce domain that is either a; .com domain or .co.uk domain Jimbob
Are you targetting the UK market ? If yes, you will probably be better off taking the .co.uk. Com's are universal- right from America to Antarctica. That is a big advantage in itself.
Take both and 301 the one that you don't brand on. (I'd also take the .info and the .net for any thing significant $10 a year is a lot cheaper than try to stop them later from benefiting from (or even damaging) your brand.) Which one you choose to brand on depends on how you want your customers to perceive you.
if .com is free .com i think a good keyword .co.uk can be a great domain, better than a 2 words .com. And today about all .com are already regged.
keyword .co.uk for business in the united kingdom is ok if the .com is taken (which almost all keywords are) otherwise use .com
