Plain text link adsense ads (without any description with them) or text link ad units with the description?

Am I right to assume the ads with the extra description would do better?

You should test different things on your site.

For some people, horizontal link units perform best. Other say vertical units.

    Your tips are cool!!

Well brother i would prefer you test them yourself by adding channels. Sometimes some ad format do good for others but dont do good for us so go ahead and bang your head in wall to test what comes out of it :D

very nice tips you have there Expertu', but i have a question,
There is something that I can not understand.

At tip 4. "Earnings are variable, based on CTR"

Why do you say, if we have low CTR sites in our account we will lose money.

I'm learning now, everything about AdSense, so I would like to gather more answers, before I'll build my adsense empire-:) (kiddin)

    Thanks for your time.

If let's say you have a website that has an average CTR of 10% and you put it in the same account (account, remember, not channel) with one that has a CTR of 1%, you will loose money ...

My advice (if you own several accounts), is to isolate the low CTR websites in an account.

Someone gave me a red for the above comment .. That's pretty usefull to me actually, because I can ask : Do any of you have comments on it ?

The comment is my personal experience, as well as beeing based on the posts on the Adsense Blog, and the experiences of others.

I would love to hear other opinions.
