    Hey I was wondering which type of post you prefer to write;

Firstly I will explain how long and how short I mean

    Short Post:
    100-750 words

    Long Post:
    751-3,000 upwards

I prefer to write long posts generally however I have also started to make lists on my blog now, for readers who just want quick content. It is also important to make sure your content is scannable.

    Which do you prefer?

Content Must be useful and point to point unless it does not bound the reader.

writing long posts on my blog. If you have an interesting Topic it's hard to write short articles so most time I write long ones and my users seem to like it

As much as is needed to cover the subject all the way and to keep thing interesting. If the readers are bored by the material then there was no point in writing it. If you can keep them interested for longer periods of time (and you still have more to cover)then keep on writing!

It depends on your target audience and the subject you're blogging about.

Tutorials and how to do articles should obviously be longer, while news articles can be short so that the user gets the gist of the matter by reading a few lines.

I think quality matters and not the quantity. The posts should be clear, innovative and relevant too for the readers.

I believe that modern web audience hates long posts and that is why shorts are more effective. But if you need to set things clear long will be ok)

I would prefer short posts, Providing Nicely compiled information with keyword density.
it doesnt make sense to just write long articles full of crap, so ill rather go for short, informative and keyword rick posts.

I agree with whats already been said.

The qualit is what is important. I don't rely on SEO so much so I just focus on writing engaging content.

My posts are as long as they need to be. I just make sure I have got the point across clearly and concisely.

In general I write long posts and voted that way in this poll.

Some excellent results here I am pleased that most people are saying that they write as much as they need to thats the correct answer I believe when writing posts however in my case its generally the longer posts that I feel I need to write.

    Pretty split here.
