I think paypal is better, well for me it is anyway. Most people I deal with use it. Only problem is it is very unsecure and I am always wary of dealing with people I haven't dealt with before when recieveing payments from them.
I have an egold account but I hardly get payments to that account.

IMO, Paypal is more secured than eGold, my second option would be moneybookers but definitely not egold.

Voted for Paypal. Easier to use. Easy enough to get in trouble, too :)

I'd have to say Paypal because my clients prefer using it... so I stick to PP to keep them happy :)

Well, it would be Google Checkout for every country it launches their services to. Easier to use, wider accepted. They had a few problems last week but sorted now, the only low point is the payout which you cannot control. You just have to wait for them to initiate withdrawals to your bank account.

With the recent developments regarding e-gold, I had no other choice than to vote for Paypal.
E-gold blocked about 40% (!) of all e-gold accounts the past 3 days!

2.9% + $0.30 USD is paypals rates. Our rate is half of what they charge. Shop around and compare rates.

"Our" rates? Do you mean the website in your signature? How do you plan to build your reputation over that of Paypal's? Lowering rates isn't quite enough to win customers, is it? And you've been on-line since 2007-07-14, that's a bit over 1 month...

This has nothing to do with my signature. I'm just trying to save the guy some money in general. Paypal should be a last resort for merchants that do not have good enough credit for a true merchant account. I think it would be wise to shop around for the best rates before choosing paypal. Choose a company with low rates, 24/7 customer support, and a excellent fraud department. Everyone knows how papal is in those categories. Google "merchant account rates" and you can see how many companies offer lower rates.

I did not mean to personally attack any business, not really.
And I don't intend to go offtopic here, so I'd support Paypal out of the two.
