Which Directory Script?

I'm looking to start a shopping directory, so I need a nice, powerful script. At the moment, I've narrowed my search down to four: esyndicat pro, phpmd, phpld and indexu.

I feel that indexu and phpmd are the most feature-filled. What do you guys recommend? :)

Well if I were to select I would choose a script that has strong support and here on DP phpld as a large base of support re-coders, template designers, mod experts an0n etc

So our choice would be phpld as you can easily get it customized to your own spec

Of course the other scripts are top products too with strong back up & support

    Hi,
when you choose a script you should also take in account support, dynamics of development, etc. You should not limit your choice by a number of features only.
You can give a try to eSyndiCat Pro.. I do not know what feature can not be found in our script that you really need.

I use phpld 2.0 and it's ok. I don't know about the latest one but I think it is very good.

PHPLD 3.* is very good. Fast ans easty to use.
Don't use phpld 2.0 because you have to delete or approve links one by one.

I will opt for PhpLd as the support for Eysndicat is really sad these days... & they just keep releasing patches to the latest released versions.

Ok I will rephrase that. Aren't there any Link directories that have more of an ajax feel to them, something more WEB 2.0... ;)
