Which directory gives you most traffic?

i get loads of traffic from directorycritic and Jim's addurl.nu site
my dir is not listed at Dan's list.. so i m just wandering, how much traffic do you get from Dan's list??
from which all other directories do you get traffic from ??

Jim's list isn't really a directory.. Its just a list of directories. Directory critic however does drive pretty good traffic if you own a directory. Especially for the first few weeks of inclusion on the "New" page.

The best general directory is probably Yahoo Dir, I would be very interested in other directories that actually bring traffic.

Oh and I guess I misread your entire question anyhow. Dan's list is also not a directory, Honestly I can't compare as my directories don't seem to be listed under dan's list. However I've heard it gives pretty decent traffic.

You can get good traffic if your site is listed at info.vilesilencer.com - But you have to add their tiny banner on your direcory to get listed on their site.

Well it's hard to find what traffic comes from Dan becouse it gives that excel file with the list so .....

For me the most traffic is direct traffic

You need to keep adding your sites to more and more web directories till you are not satisfy with your traffic.

Currently, I'm seeing traffic from Directory Critic as many have already said, but there are a couple others which I'm starting to see increased activity from. Too early to mention here, but I'm keeping an eye on the stats.

if anyone's in the travel industry - which directory gives you most traffic?

 

I see traffic from both, addurl.nu and directorycritic both.

Another one I used to see was anthonyparsons directorylist, but lately it is kind of quiet.

 

I get great traffic from www.busybits.com, but I have a homepage link there so that may be the reason why. Other than that www.directorycritic.com brings me the most as well.
