Hey Guys I need your help again. I want to buy a digital camera but I do not have any clear idea. So please suggest me which I should go for ... budget is $300 Tell me with model number and company name. Looking for your suggestion and help Regards ... - Lalit.
You can get a superb quality 10 or 12 Mega pixel camera in that much price. Go for either Nikon or Sony. Both of them are good. - Digital -
People are saying for Canon and Nikon ... So I am bit confuse here ... I wont go for sony ... either canon or nikon ... now you guys help me which one to choose.
I have always loved the Canon Ixus range. They produce lovely shots and are small enough to take everywhere.
One year ago I was confused among the two brands Canon and Nikon. And the competition between them has been a long long time. Here is what I find out lately : Canon is superb at color. The color is very natural. Easier setting for the color so more comfortable for Photoshop editing. But canon cameras are easier to get errors after a sudden temperature change or even a little drop. Nikon is stronger in every kinda situation. I know that all the Canoners don't agree with this statement. Hey I'm just trying to help a friend here. After posting this I won't do a debate. Nikon is better. Peace.
Hey twotango Thanks for your suggestion ... kindly tell me model no as well within give budget. Regards ...
No, you're completely correct. Canon digital cameras are simply the highly appreciated cameras for the uninformed. Those who are truly educated about the difference between the two, and their products, will know Nikon is the better company. I have no idea about the going rate for digital cameras but after tossing out $1, 200 for a Nikon years ago (ex-wife, uggh!), I was actually impressed with the performance. Before it would cost nearly $500 for a decent 3MP camera, they're like $40 now! Go with Nikon. We can't give you an exact model to buy though, go look at some reviews. Each will probably tell you why that model is preferred, just decide which offers more of what you want! You probably can't afford an SLR (unless used) so you might have to go for a higher end Coolpix camera...check those out.
Well I am not a professional photographer so going for SLR camera is not my first choice. But however I want to take high quality photographs that's why I kept my budget at $300 However I am still seeking for the correct model no and description. Kindly also tell me what kind of quality I should look for ...
Any Nikon, new, for $300 will satisfy your needs, assuming you don't stumble upon a defect device - of course you'd just return it for a working one. Don't stress over which model, just pick the one that looks the best, has the best features, and most importantly - has the best feedback/reviews from people that have used it. No matter what, a $300 Nikon WILL give you "high quality photographs".
You have suggested in such a nice way ... I am first time buying digi cam as before this I was using my brother digi cam (Sony). So please suggest me a model as well with the features, you can say that I am new bie for this field. Really appreciate that.
Since you seem to have little knowledge about it (which is not criticizm), any model in that price range will do, I suppose. All brands have good and lesser models, but in that price range you can't really go wrong. Take Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Pentax or whatever. They're all good. Make sure that it has a LiIon battery, and if you want to take lots of pictures, make sure that you can swap the battery with a second fully charged one so you don't have to wait for a recharge.
Hey Luc Thanks for your advice but I think to the point advice will be really appreciated like Company and model No. If you like their some quality than please tell me as well.
