I tried krutika but it does not support urdu words ( I can write जमाना but not ज़माना , खबर but not ख़बर )
Which font or font family I can use so that I can type urdu words too.

    Thanks.

I am not talking about urdu script (arabian). I am talking about URDU language which can pretty much written in devnagri script. The problem is that most fonts do not support some extra charactors like a nukhta etc.

I got it. I realized even common fonts like times new roman also support devnagri in unicode. The problem was they were not showing in MS word or PowerPoint or Photoshop probably I had unicode support disabled in my OS.
But when I write the same text in a webpage ( using frontpage) everything worked fine, and I didnt even needed a special font.
