I developed these 2 designs for my site and I'm not sure which one to use. I'm going for a web 2.0 look, something professional but inviting, but still has to be marketable. Please let me know which one you think is better and why. The more specific a critique the better, thanks. http://www.rzdzine.com/index2.html http://www.rzdzine.com/index3.html
i'd go with index3. looks better and cleaner and more fluid in the transitions. 2 is a lil boxy and basic/bland
you've also have got my vote for index3.. really nice job... any way you can pm me about ur current rates?
Actually, I like #3 as well, BUT, I would still keep your original site, the one that is up right now looks pretty good too! But, if you have to re-design, the #3 has some very nice components and your users should be happy
both designs are pretty fine although i like index 3 better is cleaner and fluid, but imho i would recommend replace the smiles leading the 3 info boxes you got there, is not a good idea for the visitor to associate your already nice site with something spamy looking as free smilies
I like the first sample you listed there, the gradients works well (while the other one lacks gradients) and the content area is more professional (The second one :where the content boxes are: does not look professional at all.. especially with those smilies on there)
Thanks to everyone for the posts. I took some suggestions and redid design 3. http://www.rzdzine.com/index5.html Let me know what you think.
still index3 its the best from all of them.. its clear and the smiley faces makes it have more impact from the first view. What i think its a lil frustrating is the blurred image in the right side under the header/ maybe you can lose that or replace with something else.. bcuz u have graphic smiley faces and its not good to mix with pictures.. I also don`t like very much the logo but well.. thats just me.. u know your work! Ok i hope this helps! Regards, Cris
I redesigned the site with modifications and added a new design. Let me know what you think. Heres the thread
