Which design do you think is better?

Me and my friend are in a heated debate over which one of our designs are better, my wii design or his blog design so please vote on the poll which one you think is better

Alex! The poll didn't show up. It's a close one though... your site would work awesome for wii and his site wouldn't work well with a wii theme.. but his site works well as a portfolio site but yours doesn't.. too hard to pick!

P.S: for versatility, I think yours works best

 

I like the second one because the first one is too crowded and small. His design revolves more around design rather than utter crap like yours.

You should consider making the left sidemenu font bigger, well basically all the small font should be big.

My vote is the second one.

I prefer his. Your layout is too cramped, the review / cheats blue stroke looks tacky IMO. What is up with the food?

 

Gotta say His design is kinda too simple, nice and web 2.0 but too simple, you need to touch it up with light gradients and a few brush strokes.

 

I prefer your design because of the blended header and room for more content. The second design is all misaligned in terms of content.

Well this kid has been trying to say for the past half hour that mine is absolute crap and his is almighty and I just wanted to show him that he is far from the truth.

SEe, this isnt totally fair. Yes, I signed up to vote mine, because he voted his. But I have no friends on DP, thus cant get anyone to vote mine, like he can. He has many friends here, so all he has to do is PM them and they vote him. I also am not finished with mine, I plan on adding copyright, redoing the news a bit, and possibly adding a sidebar. Just wanted to get that in there.

 

I like the second one, it's very stylish, the first one seems to crammed.

I chose his design because it is simple and is in the portfolio style that I like.

They are very different though and yours is better for some purposes where as his could be better for other purposes.

 

content wise.. alex, visual appeal, other guy. overall, quantity not quality =)
