I just wanted to know which Database to sell when you sell a WP blog. 1) is the whole folder mysite.com that I see in my FTP webpanel? Or 2) I can just take a dump of the mysql database that I used when I installed WP.. When I took the Mysql database dump, I didn;t see the uploaded contents like images... In case it is the 1st one, since it is a folder, i would have to zip the whole folder.. I can't sucesfully zip it from my webFTP panel, and I don't know if I can zip it using command prompt when I connect to server from command prompt.. ANY HELP WOULD BE great..
You can download the whole folder of, "mysite.com" as it is, to your local computer.. using the ftp utility. Than yes, make a dump of the same database you used when installed wordpress.. Than, place that dump file in the "mysite.com" folder on your local machine.. and move it to a new .zip folder on your local machine. Than send that .zip file to the new owner. Or upload that .zip file via ftp to your server and send the new owner a link to that file.. That will give them everything they need to reinstall the whole site. Plus maybe tell then your admin password so they can use the same one as it was installed on your site. Boulder
Zip the whole folder but if u want only database that will be sql format and the name u have given to the database
