I have heard many peoples saying keep your CTR average around/below xx% but I could not find anything official from google about this xx ratio, where is this coming from? and what is the okay-average CTR ratio?

It totally depends on your niche dude, but usually if you are under 10% you are ok. Over that and red flags go off.

normal is around 2-5%, higher than that is kinda abnormal. Unless u were a genius at placing ads.

Above 5% would set off flags, trust me ive gone through it.

if ur % is high, check your logs to see is something is wrong. better to block some traffic than get banned by adsense

You should have CTR less than 5% max 5% is ok but its a high alert time for you when it reached to that figure

The percentage you are talking about 5%, is this per day or per month? There are was a day I had 18% ctr and the next few days 0-5%. Overall the monthly ctr is below 5%.

There is no magic ratio. As long as you are not violating the TOS then it doesn't matter.

I have sites that pull close to 20% and others 1%.

Google is in business to make money just like you, and as long as you deliver valid click throughs that benefit advertisers you have nothing to worry about.

i stick to 2-3% and mix it with traffic from various sources.

    --------
and I know how to get Adsense accounts approved in 5 - 7 days the legal way.

    PM if you need any.
