Obama does not think it is BS and he will be the new leader of the sole superpower.

The militias then when on a murder and looring spree backed by the Russian army in Poti and Gori.

Georgians have been ethnically cleasened from South Ossestia or the ones that stayed murdered.

I would have to go with Russia, if you compare it to US. I don't like either of these countries, but i like US much much less. I think Putin is scary tho, looks like a guy that is a good chess player. Most of us know the truth about Georgia crisis, so one point to Russia for that + one minus point for US and their media.

What an odd question - fairer to whom? I'm no fan of the current U.S. Administration - especially their aggessive, neo-imperialist foreign policy - but for all its many, many faults I'm still a 'fan' of the U.S.

Before the wall came down I working in East Berlin. The students there were taught that the US bombed them and the Russians were liberators. The older generation knew the truth but had to keep quiet or the Stasi secret police or informants would be all up in their shit.

Communism was wanted to stay drunk and not work. The black market rate was 10 East Marks = $1 USD. The cost of a beer was 60 pfennigs (6 US cents) and a meal in a moderate resturant was 10 East mark ($1 USD)

A bottle of stolichnaya was $1.50 and there was plenty of Hungarian wine, Russian Champagne is the Russian Champagne bars and Armenian brandy.

I never made it to Russia but I was in Czechoslovakia and Hungary and drank with quite a few Russian officers. The Russian military I met were friendly to the US and there didn't seem to be a problem between the Russian people and American people.

However, it seems that the Russians, no longer constained by communism, are opening a pandora's box of ultra nationalism. From what I've heard about drunk russian militas that were on a murder and looting spree in Georgia, I'm getting concerned as an American.

 

I have spoken to several older Russian and they stated that the younger generation was very unstable and ill tempered.

If Obama thinks that Russia is "agressive" too bad for him.
He shouldn't make dishonest political statements just to get elected.
That's why I don't vote for anybody. All those who run are partially honest people. Still Obama is the better choice.
