Finally after much hard working I have saved enough money to buy a laptop in the range of 500 - 600 USD.

I am interested in Buying HP 530 Notebook, because I read a review about it in an internet magazine and they recommended it for home and small business usage. But I want to know that HP is good company in laptops?

What would you recommend me to buy, DELL, HP, TOSHIBA, which one?

I will hopefully buy my laptop next month or may be in June :)

I will inform you guyz when I will have bought it. Wish me good luck :D

They're all Chinese. I trust only Dell, at least they're crap-ware free and come with awesome support.

As for HP, my experience is not very good with them. HP PCs and laptops tend to slow down after a period no matter how you use them. Also, HP's support which I suppose runs out of Bangalore is not too good.. they told me to open the cabinet and check the wiring.. when the only problem was a driver issue

Toshiba is not bad, it is better than HP.. but then it comes with loads of unwated software, so avoid it.

    ___

Edit: Also, if you're mainly gonna work on Graphics, try a Mac, that owns everything.

Dell,HP and Toshiba are the best. I've used HP,Dell and Toshiba laptops. They worked good for me. I use a Toshiba x200 laptop now, and its just rocking :p.

I can't tell which one is the best. But they are all good.

Yeah they have good laptops. But the prices aren't good, too expensive.

I have tried both, Dell and HP. I can tell you that Dell is very strong, and its absolutely choice #1 for me. Then comes HP, Toshiba, Sony.

Toshiba, expensive but light and extremely well designed. Acer cheap with everything inside, value for money.
