I am doing a cell phone site and I am not sure which color should I use as background, black or white? Black means luxury but white looks clean. :D If you are reader and reading cell phone information before made buy decision, which color would you prefer?

I would agree, white tends to look more professional. Especially if there is going to be a good deal of text on the site, like reviews of cellphones...

Suggestion - look at the iPhone, Blackberry, etc...

Use black headers with rounded corners and white text for the headers, white content areas with black text, and then a black footer, also with rounded corners.

If it's a site about phones, make it look like the phones ;) Stare at the products and make an amalgam - or just choose one.

Generally, that's the key to any commercial site layout - you want to tie the product (or products) to the page.

In my eyes if you choose black you are looking at relaxing and chilling out, if you choose white you looking at a dull page this is my view only.

You can combine black and white to a decent and depends on the resolution images, which will add to the site
If the image of a white background i advice white background site to show the images in 3d posision

depends on the rest of the site, the phone, etc.

I'd go for white (kind of like what apple do with their site, but it'd look good in dark colours too)

Depend on the content of the site. Most professional sites are white, not by mistake.

After reading your comments, I prefer for white mix with some black or grey that looks luxury and professional at the same time. However, It seems hard to find wordpress theme designer/coder whom understand what I need, some claimed to but charged for a little expensive ($700) Could you guys recommend some good one with reasonable price? :D
