ZeMMs, I think it depends on whether a lot of your visitors are first time visitors or return visitors. If they are first time visitors then I would say it would be best to blend. If they are return visitors I think using a script to show different border / background colors would work well.
im begining to see forums not blending the google adsense into their forums anymore. They are using multiple colors. Just look at digitalpoint's top banner here.
Blending in colors seem to work the best for me, too. You can have a look at www.drgily.com - the large square ads are getting the highest CTR. Hope this helps. ******************************************************* Weight Loss For Life - free diet and exercise monitoring tools, including calorie counters. http://health.drgily.com - health, nutrition and weight loss information. *******************************************************
I find that having the same color can lead to ad blindness .... so every so often I change the color to suit the mood... At the moment running Christmas Green... seems to be working - so far - until smarting pricing hit again.
I would say anyday black color works the best ,but try to blend with the color of the rest of the text matter being used for the site so that people treat it as part of the text and clicks it.
Being a internet savvy, i saw so many adsense most of them were in bright colors, Blue color is the most appealing color.
color is one of the prime factor for making page smart and also for attracting visitors.actually i prefer LIME color for highlighting the page.
