Hi Folks, I have a client who would like a cms that allows him to add Categories with links on the main page of his site, which would in turn take the visitor to a sub page with a list of businesses in that Category. Then when a certain Business is clicked on that page, it will then take the visitor to a sub-page with a contact form on it which will then in turn send an email to that business. Which CMS would be ideal for this arrangement and allow the client to add Categories, sub-pages with a contact form for that individual business. Would wordpress suit? Thanks for your help!
I recommend joomla www.joomla.org certainly is the best CMS Now if your project is a virtual community, I recommend Drupal www.drupal.org
I've begun to like MODX, easy to use and has a nice wysiwyg editor and very light on its feet. Like it, like it a lot. Expression engine seems a good 2nd choice .. but costs money for a pro version.
I currently have 2 sites I run using Joomla, It's worked out well. It's easy to use and they have many add on components and modules. Also, there's a wide selection of templates available, some free and some commercial.
I think you could easily do something like this in wordpress with a few of the right plugins. Foldable categories sounds like a must.
