Which CMS?

I'm going to need a site like this:

    -One page for free hosts
    -One page for free domains
-One page for a blog of monthly reviews
    - And "newest monthly review" block on the frontpage.

    Which cms would I use?
I think Joomla could do this, but I have had bad experiences with Joomla.. Also Wordpress maybe wouldn't suit for a site like this when the blog is't the most important.. And not just a html-page because I would like the monthly review to be automativcally updating.
And the theme should be the same for entire page. :S

Joomla is good for me. I haven't used Drupal, but that's supposed to be more scaleable, so if you're planning on growing large, consider that one.

I didn't like the blog/news -thingy. Too many links and hard to use. Would be better to just click "Blog" and see all the posts made, like In Wordpress.
Also, the admin panel was just awful. It logged me out all the time and I had strange error-messages whwn trying to log in.

Hmm.. But maybe I should give it a new try since everyone sems to like it so much.. 0_o

well, it's true it's not easy getting how it all works at first.. but after a couple of months you should be pretty confident using it :) there are so many components, modules etc that you can have almost any project running on it.. all depends what you need it for - just for blogging wordpress is probably better..

I like Wordpress because it's easy to use, easy to customize and easy to add functionality using plugins and widgets.
I think would could easily setup 5 static pages through WP and do what you need to do.

Yea, but then I couldn't have a custom frontpage or the automatically updating "latest review"-block. :S
I think i'll give Joomla another try...

:O What modules/plugins do you need to create that? I got an old blog-directory I used to update manually.. I could try to automatize it and get a bit more familiar with Joomla.. P=

    Hi,
Both Joomla and Drupal are very good for such a purposes, they are flexible and easy to manage. You can add dynamic contents and change their look. Also, these are made to be search engine friendly as well as wordpress so it does not matter which one you will pick as long as it suits your needs :)

    Good Luck!

Actually Joomla is not that SEF out of the box, need to install some component for that.. but then you can create your own SEF links easily, there are also some plugins the make the whole website / code more SEF.

for online shop I use Joomla + virtuemart.. :)

I've played with drupal a long while ago and it was more difficult than joomla, as I can remember you had to manually install additional modules, don't really know how it looks like now.

What about Drupal? Anyone used it? Tell me your opinions.
My host didn't support it, so I wouldn't like to have the trouble of finding a new host if it sucks. =P

Edit: Lol, I just asked it. Whatever. I'll ask again then. =P Manual madule-installing sounds really bad.. Is it hard?

Joomla has nice graphics and whizz bang/ flashy but find it is slow to load. We use Drupal at www.toppopularstore.com :D The site looks haphazard, disorganized but that is 'cos I am bad at layout/ colors. Like Drupal 'cos it is user friendly, has tonnes of features/ plug ins and development community that keeps developing new addons. :)
