Thanks Fervid - you are quick!

Any thoughts on an existing CMS that would be a close poor-man/girl's solution to mimic this site? :)

If Joomla can not do that I would be surprised. Taking reservations for hotels would require a plugin. BookiT says they are ideal for that task.

Here is the link for the reservations page : PLUGIN

    Joomla is free.

Thanks - the plugins / ads are not critical, just the organization of content.

I agree with Blue Star Ent. I would be shocked if Joomla couldn't duplicate that almost exactly.

Is it possible to have 10,000 pages in Joomla? I have 10,000 pages of content and am hoping there is a CMS that can handle it.

Joomla.org doesn't explicitly state this otherwise I wouldn't ask here.

Was hoping to hear from Joomla users on the performance of Joomla sites with many thousands of pages. Does it slow down considerably or what?

Is there a way to import / upload thousands of pages of content to Joomla?

Yes to your last question and I would say no to to your first one also. The site joomla.org uses joomla and I do not see a slow down of it and a smaller site. I consider tens of thousands a medium sized site.

You load up your thousands of pages using a database dump/upload. If you have a good internet connnection it should not take long. Use PHPMyAdmin for that task.
