I think WORDPRESS will do this job comfortably.
If you use any other CMS, then you will have to spend lot of time in tweaking. I don't think that much effort is necessary for a single celebrity fan site.

I recommend Joomla or Drupal because both CMSs come with the features that you need (some addon components and modules will be necessary for your website).

But your decision which CMS to use does not need to depend on the template. If you find a Wordpress theme that you like it can easily be converted to a Joomla template or Drupal theme.

    How to do this ?
I like Drupal but I am not finding good templates.
So it's useful to convert WordPress template into a Drupal template.

joomla is just perfect for that.

Drupal is ok but a very long learning curve.

Since its just for a single celebrity, just go for joomla.

seeing that you are already familiar with Wp i suggest you go with what you know.
WP has enough plugins and addons to make it do everything you want and some great templates out there.

While both Joomla, drupal would serve you just as well, you would lose time learning the in's and out's. Time you save now and will be able to invest on some other aspect: content, templating, seo, ...

    Another vote for Wordpress!

I've already done the same thing whereby I used Wordpress & Coppermine gallery together for my Miranda Kerr site listed in my signature..

MODx. It's light, easy to learn and got plenty of customisations and a fairly big community. :)

Joomla imo. There are tons of extensions that can do whatever you want. Plus the thousands of templates.

Single subject and you're entering most of the content?

WordPress then, yes. It was constructed for that purpose - this coming from a Joomla person. ;)
