Hi, I want to make one new website with nearly 500 Aluminum products need to shown one by one with individual pages. No need for shopping cart, but need to display product image, name and description only enough.
Can any one tell which CMS is most suitable for my requirement.

    hey raj

ask any newbie and they will tell you that installation of joomla is too cumbersome, wp boasts 5 minute install, something joomla cannot claim... if you are lucky and a relative newbie it will take you just on 5 days to install joomla... very user unfriendly...

if you want to add a shopping cart later on then you will need to look at a ecommerce solution

u can use joomla... The Best CMS i ever used .. installation is so simple. u can easily understand the internal flow of the admin to update your pages and one more thing there are lots of free plugins also available in joomla which enhance the functionality of your website.

I'd not be doing my job if I didn't suggest you look at other solutions as well, including online website builders like ... oh, I dunno, ours ... though apparently we're not the only one ;)

The benefit of using a 100% external solution is no need for infrastructure investment, and usually scalable (you can start out with a home page and a couple of product pages, which you can expand as you need, eventually tacking on whatever add-ons you need like shopping cart/e-commerce solution).

Use joomla the best CMS. You can just configure within 2 hours if you know how to. And the support is excellent.

I'm a huge fan of WordPress, however I do completely understand the power of using a CMS like Joomla. If you are willing to take the time to learn it, go for Joomla as it is an extremely powerful and customizable CMS, if its simplicity that you want, just stick with WordPress. WordPress has more plugins and themes are freely available as well, Joomla is a little more limited in that respect, but there is less junk.

Still **confused** but only because I don't get what you mean by "I don't know if to be blaze for your page rank 0", however I (think) I did originally understand what you first meant by your suggestion of BSE ;)

In any case, thanks for the compliment (I'll let my boss know, he'll be happy) and for the greeting (just 130kms off in the city, but hey, you're real close).
