i am having trouble in submitting to directories.. i cant seem to find or distinguish which category my site belongs to..

its primarily a webmasters forum but i have recently added more general sections on it..

can someone suggest to me which category my forum belongs to? something common to find in directories.. whenever i find any, i would normally add it to any category with the word webmaster or forums in it.. but i need something common in most directories..

    heres my site: http://iwebneed.com/

I would suggest submitting it to Webmaster Forums if that category is available, thats the one i would accept it in.

Although you have added some non webmaster categories, your main webmaster content is still up top.

Hmm, if they have a top category of Forums when your submitting i would submit it to that top category, if it goes through.

Or submit to their Webmaster category, any decent directory owner will see that you couldn't find a completely suitable category and will create one and move it for you.

As long as you dont mind them doing that, moving you to a brand new category.

Basically, submit "as close as" you can find.

Submit here if you want http://www.pulsedirectory.com/Forums/Webmaster_Forums/ :) il let you in for free. :)

You can generallt submit to Internet>webmasters / forums section,
Most of directories have no webmaster forum category.

Here's a tip: use the search box, and enter "webmaster", "forums", "internet", and other keywords related to your website. Then make a note of where the sites that come up are listed, and consider whether or not it's a good fit for yours.

This method works very well with Dmoz. Not all directories have good search functions that list the categories as well as the relevant websites, however.

    John LaO,

you are definitely still in the 'webmaster forums' category.
