Which categories outperform adsense?

I'm using YPN on my gaming forum and so far the results have been pretty dismal. Of course, I need more time to actually see how it will do. But I'm wondering if any of you guys/gals have had really good luck with YPN over Adsense, and which site categories that YPN will pay more for.

I used YPN on an arcade and a forum and they both sucked. I have it on a site with mixed content and it does OK.

Many people don't really want to tell their secret on which sites do well..

It's pretty simple. About 75%. so, the chance of you getting it right are 7.5 out of 10. In another words, experiment.

Run keyword checks on overture and view the advertisers bids. Its not exact but its pretty close.

Yahoo now allows advertisers to make lower bids for content (what runs on YPN) and that makes overture highly misleading. Overture shows search bids, but usually the high bids are not for YPN and you'll get considerably less. Only Yahoo Search gets to run many of those high bids.

Yahoo also uses a stop words and it's algorithm is horrible - so there is no way to tell what ads will show on your page until you actually try it.

Yah, I tried it on my gaming forum and got like $12 in one day, then 90 cents the next day, I'll have to hold out a little longer to see for sure what's best.

hopefully those clicks are from USA traffic, otherwise you'll be kicked out of YPN:mad:
