Hey guys - i just started taking care of this one website, selling playground equipment, site furniture, rubber surfacing in the canada, ontario region: www.talpublic.com i am not sure at all if i can even submit this site to any directories, or what catagory i can submit to! if you guys can help me it would be great!!!!!! Thanks Roy-*
Most directories will have a suitable category for a site like that. Submit it under business or shopping, in most cases. One way to find the right category is to do a search for your keywords. Good directories will list the category next to the sites listed, and by looking at where similar sites are listed you should get a good idea of where your site will best fit in.
Try here: Easy Find Directory home-and-garden/home-improvement or request a new category shopping-and-services/home-improvement
Tal Public We Serve: Daycares Private and Public Schools Property Management Landscape Contractors Municipalities Private and Public Schools I'm not seeing a home and garden or home improvement connection?
Well - the company does sell pool rubber sufaces - i guess like a anti-slip surface, made from rubber - so you can call it home improvement, but you see, heres where im stuck - i want my enchor title to be ';playground equipment' because thats the keyword the boss wants me to get him into, to submit into that hoime improvment section i would have to change it to something else :< any more suggestions???? peace and thanks
I would suggest you to submit in "Outdoor" Category, "Shopping > Home & Garden" or you can suggest a new category as "Shopping > PlayGround Equipment"
Nearly every website I submit has some ambiguity with regards to where it should go. I think this situation is the norm. Websites are rarely built to slot easily into categories, and there's always some overlap. Just make a reasonable attempt at finding the right category, and make category suggestions where possible. Although you might read about directory editors rejecting listings because they're in the wrong category, this is often when we get tech sites submitted to "health", or some such, and not when someone has obviously made an effort to find the right place for their website.
I'd say: Business > Children or Shopping > Children as that's who playground equipment is for. The rubber surfaces protect the children and hey, children like to swim in pools...
